Chad Karger is the founder/director of BetterDays. He is an author and former lead pastor at Ecclesia church in Houston, Texas. Having grown up in the home of a pastor and having served in the local church for seventeen years, he has a realistic understanding about the demands upon the lives of ministry leaders and pastors. He holds a masters degree in Biblical Counseling from Colorado Christian University. | |
| Steve and Lillie Hagens | BetterDays Guides focused on training, equipping, and encouraging missional leaders Steve and Lillie Hagens have been serving the Gospel in international settings for nearly 20 years. Most recently, their work has included serving the refugees of Western Sarah in Algeria as they lived amongst these people teaching English, building schools, and serving their basic needs. Their work has included partnerships with Living Water and other international agencies. But their heart is equipping and supporting the next generation of Gospel mission leaders. |

BetterDays Guide focused on total health and wellness issues for leaders Patrick Wimberly has worked with BetterDays since its inception providing leadership on our Odyssey trips and Discovery retreats. His experiences in serving the local church has given way to a passion for healthy leaders in mind, body, and spirit. Patrick is also our webmaster and content manager. |

| Mel Karger | Senior Guide and Advisor Mel has over 30 years of experience in serving the Gospel through local church work, working with Christian camps, and, now, working in a downtown mission in Ft. Worth, Texas. He provides the cross-generational perspective in his efforts at BetterDays. He serves leaders who are managing local, missional efforts as well as young leaders who are just embarking on a life of service in the church. His decades of experience are a valuable asset. |
