Counseling is simply a means of help.

While the current cultural landscape presents us with a host of promises of improvement, self-help, and coping mechanisms, we believe the wisdom of Christ remains relevant and beneficial for guiding our lives through difficult issues. Whether in marriage or at work, with our kids or in times of illness, God’s Word brings “grace and truth.”

God’s wisdom in Scripture focuses our hearts on God and thus a greater dependency on the Creator. Wisdom calls us to love others. Wisdom dethrones self as the center of the universe while exalting God. Wisdom, in other words, provokes worship, which is the purpose of our life. Worship of God leads us to transformation.

In this way, the Word of God is creative and recreative, it is “living and active” (Hebrews 4:12) and has authority in the believer’s life.

Counseling at BetterDays involves coming to terms with God’s mercy poured out through Christ Jesus. It is dependent on the Word of God, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the grace of Jesus.

Through Biblical Counseling we endeavor to build relationships with our clients in which God’s work of change can thrive. We work with individuals facing an array of issues. For a more extensive list of our services, check out the Services & Fees page.

In the event that we believe someone needs the help of a clinical psychologist, psychiatrist, or counseling psychologist, we will work with that individual to connect him or her to one of our trusted referrals.

"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in reighteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work."
