"Iron sharpens iron,

and one man sharpens another."

- Proverbs 27:17

Pastoral Care is our one-on-one connection with pastors and ministry leaders. The objective of Pastoral Care is to encourage authentic worship, wise stewardship, and healthy relationships in the leader's life in regular one-on-one meetings. It is the cornerstone of the work we do at BetterDays. In this personal care program, practical wisdom and Christ-centered perspective confront the daily struggles of leadership, stirring and provoking the ultimate questions of the heart.

    • We offer pastors a refuge in times of struggle as well as a preventative effort in their personal development.

    • Pastoral soul care combines elements of counseling and discipleship.

    • These meetings are confidential. In some cases the counselor may find it helpful to involve spouses, children, or co-          workers in the process.

  • Marriage and Family issues

  • Moral and ethical struggles

  • "Fitting in" in ministry

  • Concerns about burnout

  • Financial struggles

  • Physical illness

  • Conflict with co-workers

  • Doubt and struggles with faith

  • Conflict with church members

  • Weariness and stress

  • Ministry priorities and transistions

  • Ministry dissapointments

  • Depression

  • Sexual struggles

In providing personal care for ministry leaders, we provide a safe place to speak about:

"Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood."

-Acts 20:28
